Cystic Fibrosis This race has a charitable component, not just because every other race should, but because having the ability to do something that you love just because you can means that it is important to take the time to look around and help others not quite as fortunate. And because Annelise the daughter of our best friends in the world was born with CF. Annelise has a sled dog named Polaris and as part of the Adding Tomorrows every day, we will give partial proceeds from the race to the CF Foundation Cystic fibrosis is an inherited chronic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system of about 30,000 children and adults in the United States (70,000 worldwide). Adding tomorrows every day expresses the mission—and results—of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s steadfast efforts to extend the length and quality of life for people with cystic fibrosis (CF). |
